Here are some recent videos. The first is of one of Pat's iPhone applications.
Cookie Monster and an ABC rap
If you're still looking at this, here are some words. Man. I am scrolling through our pictures from the last couple years. I knew I knew I KNEW this would happen! Don't say I told you so, because I'd already told me so. It really makes my heart ache to look at these pictures. There's Sawyer standing by a window with a massive city behind him. His whole vocabulary was city. He tried to tell taxi drivers which way to turn. He learned his colors from all those different colored taxis. He thought wet street pigeons were his friends. Is he ever going to have any idea what a crazy place he lived in? Will I ever get back there to experience again what I knew I wouldn't appreciate until I left? Oh, not to mention I was super tan, toned, and didn't have circles under my eyes. Autumn, no time for exercise, and 25 fourth graders will do that to you. Yeah yeah, that's so vain, blah blah. Sawyer is going to forget Arlyn, someone who loved (loves) him so much. He'll forget about the taxis and the BTS and he'll forget how to say hello and thank you in Thai. Though I do still tell him "You can't" in Thai, just to feel that connection. Still makes me sad to think about.
