Swimsuit Model

How unfair is it that Sawyer looks better in my bikini than me?! Yesterday Sawyer discovered the whoomp button. Not as dirty as it sounds. It was one of my birthday presents from Pat 2 years ago. Push the button and you hear "Whoomp There it Is." If you're not familiar with the song, then you can listen to it in the next post which will have some video. Sawyer dances to the music like the nutbar he is. He's got a few different dance moves. My favorite is the one where he plants his feet firmly on the ground and squats down swaying from side to side with his hands in the air. He looks like a chimpanzee. He also does the squat where it's just up and down over and over. There's the arms in the air twisting the wrists move or the playing air drums move where he yells, "Ba ba ba ba," to make the drum sound.

Yesterday he realized that if he spins in a circle enough times, he gets dizzy. This is like a new drug. Sawyer runs over to hit the whoomp button and then starts spinning. Sometimes it's until he falls down. Sometimes he falls down on purpose a little early because he just can't wait to watch the ceiling spin. My little frat boy.

In other news, I'd say my hormones are finally getting to a semi-normal place after weaning Sawyer quite a while ago. Weird things happen when your hormones are crazy. There was a while there where I constantly thought I was pregnant because at night my belly was so bloated it looked like I was 5 months along. There were a few days where I'd walk down Soi 11 and every grimy guy who passed by was looking pretty hot. That's disgusting. I probably shouldn't even share these awful details with you. The good news is I'm in a very calm not-pregnant, not-crazy place right now :)

New words for Sawyer: rain, girl, boy, toast, kiwi, weewee (meaning his penis in this case), poo poo, wheeeee!, please, boat, cheese, organic bulgar wheat... Many of these words may only be decipherable by Pat and I since we're so used to hearing him talk. He's not like my little cousin, Elliot, who from what I recall basically came out reciting Shakespeare and correcting my grammar. Truly gifted in the language department. Sawyer understands a lot though and I think that's promising. If I ask him to pick something up and throw it in the trash, he will. Which means he's doing work for me and that's a plus.

Lloyd told me once that when Pat was about Sawyer's age, he would yell "DIE!!!!" for no particular reason.

When you sent those pictures of your family at the resort and one of them was of you in a bikini, I though, "Not only is she not afraid to wear a bikini, she's not afraid to have a picture of herself taken in one and then e-mail it around to people!"

What I'm trying to say is, you look fantastic in a bikini! (This is said in a "coming from another happily married woman" sort of way, of corse).

I can't believe he's already talking! Miss you guys.

And I have to agree with Rachel that I think you look great in a bikini as well. You're too hard on yourself!

I love that I know what you're talking about when you say "soi 3 or 11" and "the color taxies". I'm in the Thailand know. :)
