Last week we introduced rice cereal to the little man. He's more receptive to it after about a week of playing, but this stage is really just about playing around and letting him experiment with the spoon and different textures. I'm trying to get a video up of him eating. So here is yet another pic of us just hanging around the house.

On another note, we hired a housekeeper!!! Assuming our medical check tomorrow and security check go smoothly, she will be starting this week. Her name is Kom. Khun Kom. Khun is the same as Ms. or Mr. She seems very nice and will be working for us full-time. Her references checked out and she passed Sawyer's test - she played with him and he flirted with her. Then again, he flirts with all the girls so maybe I shouldn't take his opinion too seriously. Kom didn't notice, but at one point Sawyer dropped his toy and looked at her. I think he was testing her to see if she'd pick it up. He wants a housekeeper, too! I should tell everyone that I'm really grateful to have this opportunity to have someone help out. It's not like keeping house and raising a baby is impossible, but this is a luxury I'm taking advantage of. I'm also thankful for my lovely Mom who reminds me that it's okay to have a housekeeper. She said we gave up being home with our families by coming here and that we can take a housekeeper in return. She's good at making me feel comfortable with my decisions. Mom knows how indecisive I am and how later I'm overly critical of my decisions. Hopefully one day I'll be able to just toss a couple words toward Sawyer like it's nothing and make him feel one hundred percent better.
